Building resilience and opportunity across Bangladesh since 1986

Sunflower is a national NGO with almost four decades of experience supporting vulnerable and marginalised communities across Bangladesh. Founded in the north of the country and now active nationwide, we work at the intersection of poverty reduction, climate resilience, education, and human rights.

What We Do

Our programmes bring lasting change to families and communities. We provide safe water and hygiene, expand access to education for out-of-school children, strengthen ethnic minority rights, support women’s empowerment, and deliver disaster response. Our approach is rooted in grassroots knowledge yet aligned with international development standards and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Why Us

With robust governance, transparent financial management, and a skilled local team, Sunflower delivers accountable and effective programmes. Our proven record demonstrates that we can respond to urgent needs while driving long-term change.
